Our critical care outreach team has been established since Jan 2014, led by Lindsay Garcia, Nurse Consultant.

 The team plays a vital role in monitoring and assessing acutely unwell patients anywhere in the hospital and assisting with any interventions that may be required prior to patients being admitted to a critical care bed.

They follow up all critical care discharges, all patients with tracheostomies and central lines in the hospital. They are also part of the H@N team from the clinical aspects.

There are two critical care outreach practitioners 24/7 at JCUH site and one 12h a day at the FHN site.
