Critical Care Guidelines and Resources

The aim of the General Critical Care Website is to bring together all guidance, manuals, resources, and protocols used within South Tees General Critical Care Services. It has been developed to support newly appointed nurses and trainee doctors by providing easy access to the best available evidence in critical care practice.

The guidelines and resources are intended to serve as an aide-mémoire and a reliable source of information for all Critical Care staff. The website also includes links to other Trust guidelines and relevant external websites.

This resource is intended for use by staff working within Critical Care areas. Staff who are not trained in Critical Care, or who do not routinely work in Critical Care environments, should seek advice from an appropriate clinician before using the information provided.

We aim to update the website regularly and would welcome any feedback, suggestions, or corrections to help us maintain accurate and up-to-date content.
